New faculty are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, build and lead a team of Ph.D. student researchers, develop an externally funded research program that yields top-tier publications, and serve on committees within UTA and the research community. In addition, new faculty will have opportunities to work with the Division of Enterprise Development, which develops targeted training programs to support local and regional industry.

Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. degree (All-But-Dissertation, ABD, cases will be considered) in industrial engineer or a closely related area.
